Hi! Jenny Fruchey from Jen's Crafty Place here for my first project as 2018 Design Team member! I've been in the crafting industry, in some form or other, for over 35 years. I worked as an instructor at Michael’s for 10 years, a Stampin' Up Demonstrator for 5 years, and an EK Success Spotted Canary Flight Instructor for as long as they ran the program. My certifications include: One Stroke Painting, EK Success Spotted Canary Scrapbooking, Copic Standard and Intermediate, and Michael’s PaperEd. Along the line I have picked up many tips and tricks that I love to share with others in my blog posts and teachings. I hope you get a chance to hop on over to my blog, sign up to receive my blog posts in your email and have fun getting new ideas from my projects! I am so happy to be here to give you some inspiration to make some fun cards and projects using Joy Clair Stamps!
Now for my project:
I used the Christmas Cocoa stamp set for my card. But first I did some prep work on my card base.
1. Take an embossing bag and rub it over your card base. I used a brown for mine for the feel of cocoa. 2. Stamp the tiny snowflakes from the set all over the card front using VersaMark ink. Add white embossing powder and heat with heat tool.
5. Color your mugs. I used colored pencils and Gamsol to color my images. I wanted a soft look that this technique gives. If you want to color with Copics, markers, crayons, colored pencils or watercolor it is up to you. Use what you have.
Hope you enjoyed my winter card for Joy Clair Stamps. Come back soon for more inspiration and fun projects! Happy Crafting!
