Hello Joy Clair Fans!
Lori here today and I have a card to share with you that I made with the John 3:16 stamp set.
For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base of the card. I took some watercolor paper and stamped the Earth stamp with black ink.
First I placed the Earth stamp on the watercolor paper where I wanted to stamp it and used my Misti to stamp it with black ink.
Then I took my watercolor pencils and colored in the stamped image.
I colored the land portions in green and yellow pencils and the water with a blue pencil.
After I colored in the whole image I got some water and my paint brush and lightly painted over the colors to blend and soften the look. When it was all dry I fussy cut it out and got ready to make my card. I took some Graphic 45 star paper and cut it out to 4 inches by 5 1/4 inches and glued that onto the white card stock. I then took my Sizzix Sizzlet Brush Stroke Heart die and some red paper and cut out the heart. I stamped the sentiment onto the card using my Misti, I actually stamped it twice so the black ink would really stand out and then I placed that on the top left corner of the card. I took the fussy cut Earth and inked the edges with black ink and added that to the card.
I love the swirly L on the Love! Each of the titles in this stamp set have a different font so that makes it really cool!
