Good morning Joy Clair fans. It's a new month and the stamps from Joy Clair are amazing once again. Steph Ackerman here today and I'm using one of the newest stamp sets - Prayer Warrior. This month is about water coloring and rather than using paint, I decided to use water based markers and Gelatos.
These stamps are great for bible journaling, but I wanted to show you how you could also use these stamps in other ways.
I felt this stamp set worked perfectly with my planner.
I stamped the image in black ink on a page insert then colored her with Zig Markers.
On the opposite page, I stamped the phrase in black ink. I love this phrase, it is perfect for my planner as well as other projects I have in mind. I then stamped the arrows and pointed them towards Warrior. The arrows were colored with Zig Markers to coordinate with the Warrior.
Think how much fun you can have incorporating this stamp set with your planners.
Because I was having so much fun with this stamp set, I also created a card.
I used the same phrase on my card, stamping and embossing it, then adding feathers above and below the image. It really makes a nice impact on the card. The doily was colored with Gelatos and I used a baby wipe to soften the color. This is a great way to water color without excess water on your projects.
The ribbon was also colored before adding it to the tag. Using assorted papers, I created the card, wrapping it with ribbon before adding it to the base. The tag was added with foam adhesives for dimension.
Can you see the potential with this stamp set?
