Good morning Joy Clair fans. Are you ready for a new year full of inspiration and amazing stamps from Joy Clair? Steph Ackerman here today and I'm using one of the newest stamp sets - Dino Love. This adorable set is perfect for so many different projects.
This month it's all about embossing, and the Joy Clair team is going to show you an assortment of ways we have used embossing products with Joy Clair stamps.
I stamped the dinosaurs in black ink then embossed then with clear embossing powder. I find that clear embossing powder brings out the underlying ink color. Plus, embossing allows you to color the images without contaminating your markers. I used Tombow Markers to color in my dinos.
I stamped the hearts from the Dino set on pink cardstock using pink ink. Then I embossed them with clear embossing powder. I wanted a subtle background of hearts and the pink ink was perfect. Next, I wrapped twine around the panel before adding it to the card. I die cut the dinos, but first fussy cut their tails so they would not be cut off during die cutting. This was added to a larger circle, then added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.
Dino love was stamped in black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. Using an oval punch, I punched out the phrase and inked it with pink ink. Then I added the phrase between the dinosaurs.
Thanks for stopping by today.
