Hello Joy Clair Fans! Lori here today to share with you some Christmas Cards and Christmas Tags that I made with some of the Joy Clair stamp sets.
Here are the Christmas Cards:
For this card I used the Away in a Manger stamp set and stamped the Baby Jesus with black ink onto some watercolor paper and colored the image in with watercolor papers. Next I stamped the North Star from the same stamp set with Versamark and then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I took the sentiment from the A Child is Born stamp set and stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed it with black embossing powder. Next I watercolored the background with some Tumbled Glass disteress ink. When that was dry I distressed the edges and added it to a white card base.
My next two Christmas cards are made with the same stamp set:
For this A2 card I started with white card stock for the base, then I took another piece of white paper and embossed it with the snowflake embossing folder. I stamped Merry Christmas sentiment from the Holly Jolly Santa stamp set with Versamark onto a die cut tag and heat embossed it with black embossing powder and I mounted that on the snowflake paper and added that to the card. I took some red and white bakers twine and wrapped that around the card and tied on the Snowflake charm.
For this A2 card I started with white card stock and added the Christmas paper to it. I cut out Christmas ornament and then stamped the Merry Christmas from the Holly Jolly Santa stamp set onto some red die cut paper with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder and added that to the ornament, I took a branch die cut and placed that on top of the ornament so it looks like it is hanging off the Christmas tree.
Now here are two tags:
For this tag I used the Holly Jolly Santa stamp set for the elf stamp and Ho Ho Ho and the Christmas Borders stamp set for around the edges of the stamp. I used black ink for both stamps and I colored the Elf in with copic markes and the stars in the border with gold pen. I then topped it off with the plaid ribbon.
For this tag I started with a kraft tag and I stamped the Merry Christmas from the Holly Jolly Santa stamp set with versamark and then I heat embossed it with Charred Gold embossing powder. Next I took the reindeer border from the Christmas Borders stamp set and stamped that with versamark on the bottom of the tag and then heat embossed that with more of the Charred Gold embossing powder. Next I took my white pen and added dots all around the edge, wrote in my husband's name and tied a piece of gold ribbon on the top of the tag.
