Hello, friends! It is Jessi from the Joy Clair design team. Did you see the newest Joy Clair release from last week? So many wonderful sets! I could not wait to get to stamping with them. From cards to bible pages to a new type of project (you will have to wait for my next post in a few weeks), the possibilities are endless!
I have two projects to share with you today! First up is one of my latest Bible Journaling pages using the new Butterfly Kisses stamp set!
To start this Bible page, I used white acrylic paint and spread it around on part of the page. Once the paint dried, I stamped the butterfly images in a black ink. To make sure the ink did not smear when I colored in the butterflies, I left the page alone for several minutes. The images are colored in with a variety of ZIG Clean Color markers. The simple sentiment is stamped towards the bottom of the page. To add the paint splatters, I watered down some pale blue acrylic paint. The paint is added to the tip of a paintbrush handle and tapped onto the page. I felt like the page need a little more, so I added some more words using stickers.
My second project for the day is a card using the new Everyday Sentiments stamp set.
This is a very simple CAS to recreate. I used a glass image from the Raise Your Glass in the center of the card. I used a light gray to highlight the shadows of the glass. The olives are stamped in the center and colored in. The main sentiment is from the Everyday Sentiments and stamped in black ink. To finish the card, I randomly stamped the word CHEER from the Everyday Sentiments set.
Thank you for stopping by!
